A pledge for a beautiful strong woman 07/22/2010
AlisonBrewer Mobile Hair and Makeup ArtistWith the joys of being paid to do what I love doing I have to say it isn't always about the money but the personal satisfaction of helping women look and feel beautiful on their special day. I have a friend who is already beautiful and has devestatingly been struck by cancer at the age of 33. Natalie is a Beauty Therap...ist and it has also been her passion to beautify women over the years. With the support of fundraising she will be able to take on alternative treatments which in turn with hope will help prolonge her life to share with her 11.5month son and husband. My pledge to her - is a donation from every wedding booked from this point on to contribute to what I feel is more than a deserving cause. First Post! 03/23/2010
Don't sweat the small stuff........ It never seizes to amaze me how the little things in your wedding planning can sometimes totally blind you from the most important part of your wedding day - you and your hubby to be. I have personally witnessed and heard pointless squabbles over table settings, seating arrangements who's picking up uncle whatsit from the airport and where is all the relations from over seas staying, it seriously can be someone else responsibility to mind. My biggest suggestion to brides is to delegate little jobs to two people close to you, maybe your head brides maid and or a relative. After all you have bigger things to throw your energy in especially preventing blowing your valve before walking down the isle fitting your dress and praying for good whether on the day. Stress causes two nasty things that effect your person , pimples and frown lines another thing you don't want to worry about on your wedding day. If all else fails and you can't give up your mission to be a ringmaster jaffa and take it all on yourself , invest in a gallon of rescue remedy. |
